§ 42-12. Signs subject to impoundment.

In addition to other remedies and enforcement powers of this chapter, the town planner/zoning administrator or designee shall have the authority to remove and hold any of the following types of signs or sign structures.
(1)

Prohibited signs. Any prohibited sign, as noted in section 42-7, is subject to impoundment without notice to the owner.

(2)

Inconsistent signs. Any sign that is installed or used in any way that is not consistent with the requirements of the chapter, provided that notice has been given as set forth within this chapter and no action has been taken by the owner within the specified time frame.
